About

Back In The Saddle!

Over 10 years ago, John Gerard decided to retire the Alvarez and launched a career that gauranteed income and support for his growing family.  In recent years, with encouragement from fellow musicians/artists like Steve Rapson https://www.steverapson.com/?  Ashley Jordan https://www.ashleyjordanmusic.com/? and Luke MacNeil https://macneilmediagroup.com/? John has decided to once again, grace the ears of his listeners with music that is hopeful and reflective.  John's earlier music has been described as "dark" with morose characters; current depictions have become more vulnerable and introspective; drawing from his own history in recovery and personal growth.

John is re-ingniting his songwriting skills by resuming his Boston MBTA position as a busker.  His previous stint in the subway led to the creation of amazing tracks such as "My Voice" and "Let Me Be Here".  John is looking forward to playing for the endless audience the subway offers.
